In 1991, the Swat Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education was founded to oversee secondary education in Swat. The Kher Pakhtunkhuwa Provincial Government has granted legislative authorisation to the board.
Swat district’s matriculation and intermediate examinations are conducted and results are prepared by this agency. Swat District, Buner District, and Shangla District are all under the jurisdiction of the Swat Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE Swat).
