In 1961, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government created the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Peshawar. One of Pakistan’s oldest BISE boards. In the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the BISE board Peshawar has handled intermediate and secondary school examinations solely for many years until the KPK government established other BISE boards for numerous areas.
For the time being, the district of Peshawar’s exams are administered by the BISE Board Peshawar. Peshawar BISE board has authority over the districts of Charsadda, Chitral, Shabqadar, Mohmand, Khyber and Peshawar. It is the KPK province’s parent BISE board.

The Peshawar Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE Peshawar) conducts unbiased and fair examinations.
